We sent the following update to our families today:
This email is another update on some actions taken over the weekend by our organization. We hope you find these helpful. Most importantly, we hope you are all doing well, healthy and safe. That is our foremost desire for all of you during this trying time.
Below is a summary of some the decisions that will adjust our schedule moving forward. Again, we will continue to provide updates to you as we get more information from our playing leagues and government agencies.
Opening Day. The originally scheduled April 25 Opening Day is postponed indefinitely at this point. We will communicate more about if this will be rescheduled or take on a different form.
The scholarship deadline has been moved to May 1. If you know of anyone who is a high school senior and would like to apply, they can visit our website for information or email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get them more information.
The Raffle will now take place in the month of July. The Board has moved the raffle drawing to July since some tickets were sold and some can still be sold should we resume some sort of normal operations. The prize amounts on the numbered days will be the prizes regardless of the day of the week in which it falls. If you have any questions regarding the Raffle, please email: Secretary@lstaa.org
Spirit Wear orders are still in progress but pending with the business closures. Once we know when E-town Sports will open back up we'll update you on the delivery dates.
Finally, we need some people with carpentry/woodworking skills to complete some critical projects during this down time. If you’re able to help or would like to know more information, please email email@example.com.
Thank you for your patience during this time. We will continue to provide updates on a regular basis as we learn of more information to pass along.
