Coach Huber will lead his LS Navy team (aka the Dirtbags) into the championship game on Friday night at 8 p.m. at the Paxtonia Major Field.  LS Navy finished it’s regular season record with an amazing 15-1 record, claiming the #1 seed in the post season tournament.  Now, they play in the final, championship game against a strong Paxtonia 4 team.

If you’re free tomorrow night, come out and support these young baseball players as they strive to bring home a championship for Lower Swatara.  Good luck boys!

LSTAAFBBIGTownship to hold public parks meeting

The Lower Swatara Township Commissioners and the Lower Swatara Township Recreation Board are holding a Future Park Development Public Meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3 at the Lower Swatara Township building.

The purpose of the meeting is to seek public input as the township continues to pursue grant funding to upgrade its public park facilities.  Come share your ideas for park improvements at this meeting.

LSTAAOPEN2015Opening Day Set for this Saturday

Opening Day is one of the highlights of LSTAA’s year!  We hope YOU will join us in support of YOUR player on this special day.  Opening Day is set for this Saturday, April 25th at Memorial Field at the Little Hollywood Field Complex.  A full day of fun is planned for the over 280 baseball and softball players.  Families and friends should come out during the day and support these players!

Team Photos begin as early as 9 a.m. followed by the Opening Day Ceremony at 11:45 a.m.  Following the ceremony, the day will continue with scrimmage games, a return of our Long Ball Competition, a “test your pitching speed” station, and of course our traditional coaches/volunteers game.  For a full detailed schedule of events, click HERE.

This truly is a day to celebrate our players!  Come out and support them during the 2015 LSTAA Opening Day!

Important notice stampBlue Raiders Futures Day Cancelled

March 27, 2015

The Middletown Varsity baseball game scheduled for Saturday, March 28 have been cancelled.  The Future Day festivities with the youth will be rescheduled for another game.
