The Middletown Blue Raiders varsity baseball team is playing Greencastle-Antrim this Saturday, March 28th. As part of that game, the team has invited all of the LSTAA youth to join the players on the field prior to the game for the National Anthem. This is a great opportunity to introduce our young–and FUTURE–blue raider baseball players to the high school game. Players need to report to the file by 12:40 p.m. on Saturday in order to take to the field.

This clinic will emphasize hitting and fielding and will take place at the Middletown Area High School’s Fitness Center, Gymnasium and Baseball Field (weather permitting). Additionally, a coaches clinic will be held in conjunction with the players clinic to help all youth managers and coaches improve their teaching skills.

We know schedules are busy and the weather hasn’t been all that great. And, we know some of you may have totally forgotten about signing your son or daughter up for baseball and softball this year. So, we are giving you one last chance….
LSTAA will hold a FINAL in-person registration day this Saturday, Jan. 31st from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Lower Swatara Township Building. We will sign up everyone on Saturday without assessing any late charges. So, please plan to be there this Saturday if you want to play youth baseball (ages 5-12), slow pitch softball, fast pitch softball, or teener baseball (ages 13-15) this spring.
We will still keep our online registration system open through Saturday as well. After Saturday, all persons registering online will be placed on a waiting list and ONLY assigned to teams if space permits. A $25 late fee will also be assessed.
For more information regarding registration contact Jason Wagner at email@example.com or by calling 574-0536.
Think spring! Think baseball and softball! We look forward to seeing you on the fields soon!
